Liverpool to sign Saint-Etienne winger Djylian N’Guessan

Liverpool FC have wrapped up the surprise signing of Saint-Etienne winger Djylian N’Guessan (18), according to Fabrizio Romano. The France youth international striker is expected to join the Premier League giants next summer. The 18-year-old has also agreed to the move and has been allowed by his formative club to undergo a medical. Foot Mercato adds that N’Guessan had entered the final months of his contract.

The outlet understands that Liverpool see a bright future for N’Guessan. The versatile striker featured 13 times for Les Verts, logging a goal in a Coupe de France tie. The Saint-Nazaire born 18-year-old notably impressed with France’s youth teams. He logged 12 goals in 14 games played with the U16 side, and scored 11 goals in as many games with France’s U17 side.
