Manchester City bid to close back to within six points of title rivals Arsenal when they play Liverpool in a blockbuster Premier League clash at Anfield.
City are now nine points behind Arsenal after their win over Sunderland yesterday and Pep Guardiola’s side cannot afford to lose further ground in the title race.
Liverpool need a victory in their fight to qualify for the Champions League after wins for Manchester United and Chelsea yesterday.

The match will take place at Anfield.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage starting at 4pm GMT ahead of the 4.30pm kick off.

Liverpool are in the midst of an injury crisis, particularly in defence.
Arne Slot said in his pre-match press conference that he hoped Joe Gomez could return on the bench, although he clarified that the defender will not be able to start.
Alexander Isak remains out with a broken leg that he sustained against Tottenham before Christmas.
Jeremie Frimpong is still out so Dominik Szoboszlai is set to continue at right-back.
As for City, Ruben Dias returned to the squad against Newcastle and could make his first start in a month.
