Dominik Szoboszlai’s thunderbolt sealed Liverpool’s win against Tottenham to knock Spurs out of the Carabao Cup as Roberto De Zerbi’s winless start to the season continued.

De Zerbi named a strong team at Anfield for the third-round clash and Spurs enjoyed a bright start, with Lucas Bergvall denied by a superb stop from Giorgi Mamardashvili.
