Reds continue pre-season campaign under new boss

Liverpool continue their pre-season tour of the United States as they take on Wrexham on Thursday.

The Reds are embarking on a new chapter in their history under new manager Andoni Iraola, who replaced Arne Slot earlier this summer.

The Spaniard has overseen a slow start to his rebuild, with just Victor Munoz arriving in the transfer window as the Merseysiders eye more fresh recruits.

They are looking to improve upon their fourth-place finish in the Premier League last term, which saw Slot sacked despite Champions League qualification.

The Reds had won the title under the Dutchman in his first season in English football, but they fell away from runaway duo Arsenal and Manchester City at the summit.

Joe Gomez is another injury concern for Iraola off the bat after he limped off after 10 minutes in the 4-2 win over Sunderland.
