Liverpool’s Arne Slot wins Premier League Manager of the Month | OneFootball

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for August 2025, after steering the champions to a perfect start in their title defence.

The Dutchman guided Liverpool to three wins from three fixtures, making them the only side with a 100% record after the opening month. The Reds also scored a league-high eight goals across a challenging run of matches, underlining their early dominance.

Liverpool opened the campaign with a 4-2 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield, before producing a dramatic comeback to beat Newcastle United 3-2 at St James’ Park. Slot’s side then closed the month with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Arsenal, a result that reaffirmed their credentials as favourites to retain the title.

It is the second time Slot has claimed the Premier League’s monthly accolade, having first lifted the award in November 2024 during his debut season in English football.

With three wins already secured, Liverpool head into September full of confidence, and with Slot setting the tone for another formidable campaign. Liverpool will face Burnley away from home in their next fixture on Sunday.
