Liverpool's Fisk called up to the England squad

Grace Fisk has been called up to the England squad after two players have dropped out due to injury.

Sarina Wiegman has given the 27-year-old Liverpool defender her first senior call-up since the 2020 SheBelieves Cup – back when Phil Neville was then the manager of England.

Fisk's place in the squad comes after young Arsenal centre-back Katie Reid and Manchester City's Grace Clinton both withdrew from injury.

The former West Ham United player was signed by Liverpool in the summer of 2023 and has since gone on to feature 57 times for the Reds, also chipping in with two goals from defence.

England will be facing Brazil in a friendly at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday before taking on Australia at Pride Park the following Tuesday.
