At 10 am GMT, the Premier League fixtures for the 2026/27 season were announced. The Reds will be looking to improve on what was an underwhelming campaign, with highly rated Spanish head coach Andoni Iraola now at the helm.

The Reds begin the new campaign with what could be a tricky trip to Newcastle at 4:30 PM on Sunday, 23rd August. It’s a game that can be watched live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Iraola’s team will end their Premier League campaign with a trip to the south coast to Bournemouth Vitality Stadium at 4 PM on May 30th, as the Spaniard faces his former club.
The team’s first Premier League game of the season at Anfield is against Nottingham Forest at 3 PM on Saturday, 29th August.

Some interesting dates for your diary are 10th October, when the Reds host Manchester City, who have often been their biggest rivals for the title in recent seasons.
Liverpool also hosts reigning champions Arsenal at Anfield on 31st October at 3 pm, in what could be an intriguing encounter.
The next home Premier League game after that sees a clash with bitter rivals Manchester United on November 21st at 3 PM. The following game sees Liverpool travel the short distance to the Hill Dickinson Stadium to face city rivals Everton on November 28th at 3 PM.
They will be looking for a repeat of the 2-1 win against the Toffees in the first derby at the Blues’ new home.
The Reds’ home derby at Anfield against their Merseyside rivals is on January 30th at 3 PM.
As is always the case due to fixture clashes and games moved for European games, these dates and kick-off times may be changed at a later date.
Most of the games against teams such as Arsenal, Everton, Manchester City and Manchester United are likely to be moved for television audiences.
