London City Lionesses set to sign Jana Fernández

London City Lionesses are set to sign Spanish international defender Jana Fernández.

The 23-year-old was part of Spain's Euro 2025 side that finished runners-up to England in Switzerland this summer and has come through the academy at FC Barcelona

However, Fernández's time at the club is finished according to journalist Maria Tikas of Spanish outlet SPORT with the player reportedly set for a medical at the end of the week.

The signing of Fernández would be another signal of intent from London City Lionesses who look to disrupt the top clubs in the WSL.

Jocelyn Prêcheur's side have already signed the likes of Nikita Parris, Daniëlle van de Donk, and Elena Linari this season and have been strongly linked with a move for Arsenal's Beth Mead.
