London’s Premier League loanees impressed at the weekend, with goals and assists from Chelsea, Tottenham and Crystal Palace prospects.
The Standard notes that capital clubs leaned on the loan market after outlays of £3.49billion overall and £506.5m on Deadline Day.
Crystal Palace right-back Rio Cardines is thriving at Bristol City. In four outings he has produced four assists and the Robins remain unbeaten since he came in. He was named August’s Player of the Month and is already a fan favourite at Ashton Gate.
Jamie Donley continued his start at Jack Wilshere’s Luton Town, starting a third straight match and opening the scoring in a 1-1 home draw with Leyton Orient.
Chelsea’s Dario Essugo made his first appearance for sister club Strasbourg off the bench, supplying an assist in a 6-2 win at Troyes at the Stade de l'Aube.
Tottenham winger Mikey Moore marked his Koln debut by coming on to reduce the deficit late in a 4-1 loss to Stuttgart.
Fulham forward Aaron Loupalo-Bi opened his account for Fleetwood. After prolific youth returns and loans at Walsall and Dagenham & Redbridge, the 20-year-old is hoping this is his breakthrough in senior football.
