The Gunners are Europe’s representatives for the inaugural competition after beating Barcelona to win the Women’s Champions League in May.

FIFA’s newest club competition features continental champions from across the world.

What games will London stage for the 2026 Women’s Champions Cup?

London will stage the semi-finals, third-place playoff and the final of the 2026 Women’s Champions Cup.

It has not yet been revealed what stadium in London the games will be played at.

There are plenty of choices for FIFA to pick, including Wembley Stadium, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and West Ham’s London Stadium.

However, given Arsenal’s participation in the competition, it would perhaps be a surprise to see the Emirates Stadium selected.

The news comes as a huge boost for Arsenal, who won’t have to travel to the other side of the world in the middle of their domestic season to play in the Women’s Champions Cup.

This gives them a travel advantage over any side they might face in the tournament next year.

Women’s Champions Cup format

Wuhan Jiangda, the AFC Women’s Champions League winners, take on Auckland United FC, champions of the OFC Women’s Champions League, on Wednesday, 8th October at the Wuhan Sports Centre Stadium.

The winners of the match will then face the winners of the CAF Champions League in December.

Arsenal will face the winners of that match in the semi-finals in London, which begin on January 28th, 2026.

CONCACAF W Champions Cup winners Gotham FC will meet the winners of the 2025 Copa Libertadores Femenina – to be held this month – in the other semi-final.

The final of the tournament will take place on Sunday, February 1st, 2026.

Arsenal’s clash with Leicester City on January 31st is likely to be rearranged due to their participation in the Women’s Champions Cup.

There will also be questions over their clash with Chelsea, which comes just three days before the finals start on January 28th.

What’s next for Arsenal?

Arsenal travel to Manchester City on Saturday in their next Women’s Super League game.

The Gunners will hope to return to winning ways after consecutive draws against Manchester United and Aston Villa.

However, they will have one eye on next Tuesday, when they play Lyon in their Champions League opener.
