Chelsea will apparently sign more experienced players this summer and they did look into signing Virgil van Dijk.

And once again, for Chelsea fans, they will not believe a word of this until they actually see it in action. And also, what most Chelsea fans think experience is, Chelsea will think it is something different.

If Chelsea did end up signing a van Dijk for example, then I think Chelsea fans would be absolutely shocked and many of us just never see that happening, even if they did allegedly ‘try’ to sign him recently. They also apparently tried to sign Mo Salah as well. Hmmm…

Forgive my scepticism around all of this. Like most Chelsea fans, I have lived these last four years as a Chelsea fan mostly in dismay and anger around what has happened to my beloved football club. I don’t see anything major changing any time soon.
