Lorenzo Lucca set to join Nottingham Forest on loan

Italian striker Lorenzo Lucca is set to join Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season.

The Italy international is currently at Napoli on loan from Udinese having played 23 games for the Serie A champions so far this season, scoring twice.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Lucca is on his way to England for a medical before joining with Forest having a €40 million option to buy (£34.7m).

Famed for his height – which may be a large part of the reason Sean Dyche wants to sign him – Lucca has struggled at Napoli this season but scored 23 goals in 75 appearances for Udinese where his performances earned him a national team call up.
