Lorenzo Pellegrini weighs in on Dybala’s uncertain future | OneFootball

Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini touched upon Dybala’s future after tonight’s 0-0 result with Cagliari.

After Roma’s opening game of the season, Pellegrini spoke to Rai Sport.

“Dybala? I always see him doing very well, he’s been very calm. Paulo is a great guy, as well as being a phenomenal player.”

“He knows what I think of him, but I am his partner and a friend of his, so it is normal that there are things between him and the club that should stay that way.”

“His future? I think these are such personal things that one should always reason with their own head. He knows very well that for anything he can count on me and all his teammates.”

“Like I said before, he’s a great guy. You know the footballer… well as a man he’s just as exceptional and he can count on us.”

“The new signings? When the quality on the pitch improves it’s normal that you, as a player, feel good, you can play football well and that’s what we want to do and show it to the fans.”

“There is also a question of balance, on which we have worked a lot. I also really like having such strong players around, it’s nicer and easier to play.”
