Cameroonian midfielder Arthur Avom secured a valuable point for FC Lorient on the pitch of LOSC Lille. Scoring in the dying moments, he enabled Les Merlus to snatch a 1-1 draw on matchday 25 of Ligue 1.

Trailing for much of the game, Lorient eventually found the resolve to equalize thanks to their Cameroonian midfielder. In the closing stages, Arthur Avom struck a stunning goal that silenced the Lille crowd and rescued his team from defeat.

This is the Indomitable Lion's first league goal of the season, finally getting off the mark after several appearances. Since the start of the campaign, Avom now has one goal and one assist in 22 matches across all competitions.
