Lorient surrender two-goal lead as Casseres inspires Toulouse | OneFootball

Lorient and Toulouse drew 2-2 in Ligue 1 at Stade du Moustoir, lifting the hosts from 14th to eighth while the visitors stay winless and drop to 17th.

Ibrahima Baldé opened the scoring in the 37th minute, rifling into the top right from a Panos Katseris through ball on the break.

Moments later, Noah Mbamba swept in from the centre after Katseris picked him out (39.). Before the interval, Ilyas Azizi struck the post as Toulouse threatened.

After the restart, half time substitute Casper Tengstedt glanced in from close range following a corner (48.), delivered by Cristian Casseres. The midfielder now leads the Ligue 1 assists chart on three this season.

Jean-Victor Makengo hit the left post (64.). Thomas Jørgensen then levelled with a low finish, again set up by Casseres (68.).

Lorient registered 10 attempts and 40.9% possession as their early efficiency faded. Toulouse finished with 13 attempts and 59.1% of the ball.
