As part of the 10th day of Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain traveled to face FC Lorient and came away with a disappointing 1-1 draw (video summary here). Speaking to PSG TV, Joao Névés, a 21-year-old midfielder, reflected on this draw.

Névés "we are used to playing against this type of team"

"For me, it was a very difficult match. They defended well, and it's always tough to play against a team that defends deep on the field. But we are used to playing against this type of team, today it's a draw and it's not a good result for us. We will look during the week at what we did well and what we didn't do well."

A naturally frustrating match for PSG, who had done the hardest part by opening the score. This kind of away match is always difficult, especially against a team playing at 200% to try to topple the Parisian giant. The dark spot is obviously the injury of Désiré Doué, whose progress and unavailability will need to be monitored. For the rest, PSG will now have to refocus to get back to winning ways this Saturday at home against OGC Nice.
