Lorran’s Flamengo stint is nearing its end, with a permanent move to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates close to completion.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the fee is €1.5 million, with the Emirati side first exploring a loan before Flamengo pushed for an outright sale.

Talks have run for weeks and, not in Leonardo Jardim’s plans, the 20-year-old has trained as usual at Ninho do Urubu while preparing to depart.

After a season at Pisa, he returned mid-year and featured in only three competitive matches, scoring against Chapecoense in the Brasileirão at Arena Condá.

He debuted in 2023 and became the club’s youngest official goalscorer, netting against Bangu in the Campeonato Carioca at 16, surpassing Vini Jr, now at Real Madrid.

Across his Flamengo first-team spells he has three goals and three assists in 39 appearances. At youth level he won the Mundial, Libertadores, Copa do Brasil, Brasileiro and Carioca, and lifted the South American Under-17 with Brazil.

The move also comes as academy products Yuri César and Guilherme Bala have been called up by the United Arab Emirates for this month’s Gulf Cup. If he excels at Sharjah, Lorran could be considered in future.
