Talking about Guadalajara on U.S. soil is talking about Los Angeles. Over the years, the city has become one of Chivas’ homes in the United States, and this year is no exception with the arrival of the 2026 Rebaño Tour.

Over the last decade, Chivas has maintained a consistent presence in Southern California, playing friendly matches almost every year since 2016, with the exception of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Los Chivahermanos in L.A. deserve special recognition, as they have always stood out for being a fanbase that stays close to the team, constantly showing their love for the colors at every moment—at arrivals, training sessions, and serenades.

Since 2016, when the Rebaño faced Arsenal at the then StubHub Center, the team has played several matches against both national and international opponents, including wins over León in 2017 and 2019, as well as a 1-1 draw in the 2018 Clásico de México at the Memorial Coliseum.

In 2021, Guadalajara drew with C.D. FAS from El Salvador and, since then, has continued its presence with matches against clubs such as LA Galaxy, Toluca, and Atlas. A special mention goes to the 2023 Clásico de México, which brought together nearly 90,000 fans at the Rose Bowl.

Guadalajara next meeting with la Nación Rojiblanca in Los Angeles will take place this Sunday, March 29 at BMO Stadium, where a new edition of the Clásico Tapatío will be held, promising a true Rojiblanco celebration and carnival in the stands.
