Thirty-three-year-old Brazilian defender Ismaily arrived at Lille last summer after nine years at Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine and quickly established himself as the undisputed starter at left-back. He has played 18 Ligue 1 Uber Eats games since the start of the season, including 17 as a starter, with two goals and two assists.

Following this injury, it is USMNT right winger Timothy Weah, who replaced him in Rennes, who should be the left-back on Wednesday (18:15) at Lyon in the Coupe de France last 16.
