Things were very quiet at PSG in terms of transfer this summer – that’s all changed this weekend.

The case of Ibrahim Mbaye is at the centre of this all. The teenage winger has impressed since coming into the first team picture at PSG, and was expected to gain prominence this year, especially given the departures from the team in attack.

But despite that, he’s made a big push to leave. He’s been linked with a number of teams, and seems to be doing all he can to make a lucrative transfer happen.

Molina hits back in war of words

French transfer journalist Romain Molina accused the winger of being under the sway of agents who want to enrich themselves. Mbaye hit back with an Instagram story denying it all.

Now Molina has dropped the killer blow – evidence of Mbaye (or at least his entourage) meeting Chelsea and Aston Villa. The family have “lost touch with reality” and there are “red flags everywhere.”

PSG have also been involved in some other winger drama in the last days – they had to release an angry statement explaining why they had pulled out of talks to sign Yan Diomande.
