Louis Buffon, son of the legendary Gianluigi Buffon, delivered an outstanding performance with the Czech Republic U19 national team. In the match against Azerbaijan, he netted three goals and provided an assist.

Unlike his father, the iconic goalkeeper, Louis plays as a forward and is all about scoring. He currently plies his trade at Italian club Pisa. The 17-year-old rising star chose to represent the Czech Republic—his mother’s homeland—to further his football development. His side clinched a commanding 6-1 victory in the U19 European Championship qualifiers.
Louis Buffon is set to feature in more November fixtures against Malta and Northern Ireland, aiming to further showcase his burgeoning talent.
