Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has been incredibly busy in his post-football career.
Saha arrived in England in 1999, joining Newcastle United on loan.
He then made a permanent move to Fulham in 2000, where he enjoyed four successful years. The Frenchman then secured his big move to Old Trafford in 2004.
He scored 42 goals in 124 appearances over the course of four and a half seasons.
Whilst at Old Trafford, he won the league twice and the Champions League. Nonetheless, he always struggled with injuries and left for Everton in 2008.
After spells at Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland, he retired at SS Lazio in 2013.
Despite enjoying a career that most would be content with, the 47-year-old has gone on to make a massive name for himself in the business world.
The Manchester Evening News reports, “former Man United hero Louis Saha now has a multi-billion net worth which is over seven times what former Manchester United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo is worth.”
The report goes on to explain that after his playing days were over, “he then ventured into business to huge success.
His company ‘AxisStars’ is now worth a spectacular £4.3billion. The staggering net worth of Saha’s business places it worth over seven times more than Ronaldo’s impressive £600m net worth.”
The company, co-founded by Kate Hamer, is all about forming relationships and connections between “professional athletes and entertainers, their peers and trusted partners”. More than 550 former athletes are connected to Saha’s company, demonstrating its popularity.
Commenting on his company’s work in a past interview, the former France international claimed, “it is a hard process but it’s so rewarding, because if I can help 100,000 people, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
