The dispute between Luc Eymael and Chippa United has taken a new turn. FIFA has submitted a proposal for an amicable settlement in this case, offering an initial path toward resolution before an official decision is made.

According to this proposal, the South African club would have to pay the coach 250,000 rand, with an annual interest rate of 5%. However, this is not yet a final verdict.

Chippa United now has until 19 February 2026 to accept or reject the offer. If they fail to respond, the case will automatically be referred for a formal FIFA ruling.
