Lucas Bergvall the latest Spurs player to be sidelined

Tottenham Hotspur have suffered yet another injury blow with the news that Lucas Bergvall could be out for up to three months.

The Swedish midfielder had to be replaced 62 minutes into Tottenham's 2-0 Champions League victory at home to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night with 17-year-old Jun'ai Byfield coming on for his debut.

According to Standard Sport, Bergvall could miss up to 15 matches to add to Thomas Frank's selection headaches with Spurs' bench against Dortmund largely filled with teenagers.

João Palhinha is currently a doubt for Spurs while James Maddison, Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, and Rodrigo Bentancur are among the eight players unavailable.

Frank will have to come up with another solution as his side travel to Turf Moor this weekend in desperate search of Premier League wins.
