Lucas Digne has rejoined Paris Saint-Germain more than 10 years after his first spell, the club confirmed on Sunday in a post on X. The 33-year-old has signed until 2029 and will wear number 12.

He had two years remaining on his Aston Villa contract, but Paris chose to trigger his clause, valued at around 10 million euros.

Named in France’s 2026 World Cup squad, Digne impressed before his error led to a penalty against Spain in the semi-finals, a 2-0 defeat.

After breaking through at Lille, he first joined PSG in 2013 to support Maxwell at left-back, but could not secure a regular place.

He was loaned to Roma in 2015, then transferred to Barcelona in 2016.
