Lucas Piccinato hits 100-game milestone in charge of Corinthians Women

On the evening of last Friday (13th), Corinthians visited Atlético-MG at Arena MRV for the first round of the 2026 Brazilian Women's Championship and ended up winning 1-0. Midfielder Letícia Monteiro scored the goal for the Brabas in the first half. The result already placed the Corinthians team in the fight for the top positions in the national tournament standings.

Besides the three points, the match was special for coach Lucas Piccinato, who led his 100th game in charge of Corinthians Women. Entering his third year at the club, the coach arrived at Parque São Jorge at the beginning of 2024 to replace Arthur Elias, who had left the Brabas after seven years to lead the Brazilian Women's National Team.

Since then, there have been 71 victories, 19 draws, and 10 losses, representing a 77% success rate. Additionally, there have been 238 goals scored (2.38 per match) and 78 conceded (0.78 per game), with five titles won since then: Women's Supercup (2024), Brazilian Championship (2024 and 2025), and Conmebol Libertadores Feminina (2024 and 2025).

During this period, they also accumulated the following runner-up finishes: Paulistão (2024 and 2025), Women's Supercup (2026), and Champions Cup (2026). The Brabas, it is worth noting, will return to the field next Friday (20th) at 9:30 PM (Brasília time) against Fluminense at the Neo Química Arena for the second round of the Brazilian Women's Championship.
