Serie A side Juventus picked up a close 1-0 win over Frosinone today, thanks to a goal by Bremer. But manager Luciano Spalletti had some criticism for Randal Kolo Muani, who missed a sitter in the first half.

The Old Lady finished the game nervously but they could’ve easily put the game to bed in the first half. Apart from the Frenchman, a host of other opportunities had gone begging.

Spalletti took special note of Kolo Muani’s big miss and he had criticism for the summer arrival.

He said – via Gazzetta: “We went and got him, we pampered him, and we know his value, but he has to realize that he hasn’t played in two years, and there must be a reason,”

Spalletti clarified that Kolo Muani does know how to hold the ball but he needs to finish big chances.

“Sometimes you think you’re at an exceptional level, and then you’ve left something aside and you have to go and get it back. Kolo knows how to keep the ball, get into space, and he’s physically strong, but these are games where you need him to score.”

Generally, the striker did look up for the task. He looked much more motivated than he was at Tottenham and was a willing runner in-behind too.

Despite the miss, he would hope to take confidence from the showing and take the next step in the next few games.
