It has been a busy transfer window for Paris Saint-Germain. The forward line has been rejuvenated. The reigning European champions have sold the likes of Goncalo Ramos, Lee Kang-in, and Randal Kolo Muani, whilst the likes of Ferran Torres, Maghnes Akliouche, and Mika Godts have all arrived to replace them; all made their Ligue 1 debuts against Stade Rennais on Sunday.
PSG have also completed the signing of Lucas Digne, whilst Zion Suzuki had also been close to joining the club before the deal broke down at the final hour. The Japan international has since joined Aston Villa. However, Luís Campos is expected to be kept busy until the final hours of the window. Bradley Barcola is being heavily linked with a move to Liverpool as is fellow forward Ibrahim Mbaye.
Speaking to Ligue 1 Plus on Sunday night, Campos spoke about PSG’s window. “This window is not finished,” began Campos, before specifically referencing the deals for Barcola and Mbaye. “You have spoken about Barcola and Mbaye; we will see what will happen. It’s like that every year. You remember what happened with Gigio Donnarumma (who joined Manchester City on 2nd September). It was really late. This window is not over at all. It is open. Even in terms of arrivals, if we find a good opportunity, we will do it,” said PSG’s sporting director.
