Luis de la Fuente has named his first Spain squad since winning the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada last summer, keeping faith with most of the champions.

El Periódico Mediterráneo reports four additions to the squad, namely Roberto Fernández, Fermín, Dean Huijsen and Josep Martínez.

Spain face Nations League qualifying games in the coming weeks, against England in London on 26 September, Croatia at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in Sevilla on 29 September, the Czech Republic on three October, then Croatia again on six October in Split, the side captained once more by Luka Modric.

Goalkeepers: Unai Simón, David Raya and Josep Martínez.

Defenders: Aymeric Laporte, Pau Cubarsí, Marc Pubill, Dean Huijsen, Eric García, Marc Cucurella, Alejandro Grimaldo.

Midfielders: Mikel Merino, Fabián Ruiz, Fermín, Álex Baena, Rodrigo Hernández, Martín Zubimendi and Pedri.

Forwards: Yeremy Pino, Dani Olmo, Nico Williams, Lamine Yamal, Víctor Muñoz, Mikel Oyarzabal, Ferran Torres and Roberto Fernández.
