Luis Díaz scores wonder goal as Bayern beat Villa in Hong Kong | OneFootball

Goals from Kim Min-jae and Luis Díaz sealed a 2-1 win for FC Bayern over Europa League winners Aston Villa on Friday. The Bavarians will end their Asia tour on Saturday before closing pre-season with games against RB Leipzig and 1. FC Heidenheim.

Kim, who played in his home country on Tuesday against Jeju SK, opened the scoring for Bayern with the only goal of the first-half from Tom Bischof’s free-kick delivery. The center-back headed home from what seemed like a slightly offside position.

Luis Díaz added the second with a beautiful strike ten minutes after coming on as a substitute. The Colombian played both games of the Asian tour off the bench. João Gomes reduced the deficit for Villa before Manuel Neuer’s excellent save denied Tammy Abraham from leveling the score a couple of minutes later.

Neuer, Bischof, Tim Binder and Arijon Ibrahimovic played the entire game for FC Bayern. Sacha Boey and João Palhinha are told that they don’t have a future at the club, but they featured once again as Bayern extended their pre-season winning streak to three games. The Rekordmeister will end their Hong Kong stay tomorrow.
