The Paris Saint-Germain manager answered questions from PSG TV and the media ahead of his side’s game against Stade Brestois 29, which kicks off at 21:00 CET tomorrow (Matchday 4 of Ligue 1) at the Parc des Princes.

ON RETURNING FROM THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK

'We've been working on getting our principles of play back and on implementing them since the start of the season. We currently have three wins from three games, which is satisfying, but we worked hard to get them. This will be a tough game because we're coming back from an international break, so we need to manage certain aspects, but we're hoping to put in a good performance.'

ON BREST

'Brest work hard, and they've qualified for the Champions League. We know that this will be a difficult game because every team has its own specific features. We've prepared for it by looking at what Brest have done so far this season and what they did against us last season. Those were difficult games. They have a very clear idea of how to play, so it'll be good preparation for us ahead of the Champions League, and it'll be very tight.'

ON BRADLEY BARCOLA

'We're looking to give him all of the tools that he needs to succeed, be it with us or with his national team. We know that Bradley is ready to compete at the highest level and to manage all of the emotions that that involves. He's a very level-headed person with plenty of common sense, humility and wonderful family values. He has improved, and even though every player experiences highs and lows, both he and we will just need to manage that as well as possible.'

ON MANAGING THE PLAYERS

'The team has obviously enjoyed the best possible preparations, and managing the squad is a part of the workload of an entire season. We've got some very versatile players, which is the team's biggest asset. I'm very relaxed in that sense because we've got plenty of solutions. There are lots of options in every department: Asensio, Kolo Muani, Lee... Every player can provide versatility.'

ON FABIÁN RUIZ

'He was one of our best players last season, and he had a great EURO with Spain, so we're very happy to have him with us.'

ON THE TEAM'S SCHEDULE

'The schedule is different to what it was in previous seasons, but that doesn't change my way of working. I'd rather have 18 or 20 players who know that they can come into a game at any moment. I'm very calm when it comes to managing the schedule.'

ON GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA

'I'd like to congratulate Gigio on the birth of his son; it's great news. That makes another Paris player! We've given him today off so that he can enjoy such a big moment.'
