Referee Luís Godinho clarified this Friday, on the program ‘Livre Arbítrio’ on Canal 11, the mistake made during the FC Porto-Nacional match of the fifth round, which was later corrected by VAR Bruno Esteves: the penalty by João Aurélio on Borja Sainz, which ended up being awarded and converted by Samu, being the only goal of the match (1-0).

“Before seeing the images, it was imperceptible from where I was, as well as for the assistant. It was not intentional on the part of the defender, but it happened,” explained the judge from Évora.
