Inter Miami forward Luis Suárez has reportedly been suspended for Saturday’s decisive playoff match against Nashville SC after the MLS Disciplinary Committee reviewed an off-ball incident from Game 2 of their first-round series.
According to a report in The Athletic on Wednesday, Miami’s appeal was denied, confirming Suárez will miss Game 3 at Chase Stadium, with the series tied 1–1 and elimination on the line.
The suspension stems from Suárez kicking Nashville’s Andy Najar in the 71st minute, an action not penalized during the match.

MLS rules allow postgame action to be enforced when referees fail to issue a card for a clear red-card offense on the field of play.
This is Suárez’s second suspension of the year. He previously served bans for spitting on a Seattle Sounders staff member during the Leagues Cup final.
Since returning, the 38-year-old has been a key contributor with 14 goals and 15 assists across all competitions.
