Luis Zubeldía has been sacked by Fluminense on Thursday after a run of eight matches without a win this season.
According to Globo.com, the Argentine leaves after 11 months in charge, having been appointed in September 2025.
He departs with 57 games at the helm, recording 27 wins, 18 draws and 12 defeats, a 57.9% record.
During the eight-game streak, Fluminense were knocked out of the Copa do Brasil by Vasco at the last-16 stage.
Zubeldía’s final match was a goalless draw against Independiente Rivadavia at the Maracanã, the first leg of the Libertadores last 16.
His exit is the 14th dismissal of the 2026 Brasileirão. The first was Jorge Sampaoli at Atlético-MG.
