Lukas Hradecky will return for AS Monaco and start against Brest on Saturday 14 March at 21:05 in Ligue 1.
According to Nice-Matin, the Finland international goalkeeper has trained fully for the past two weeks after a knee sprain sustained on 3 January in the 1-3 defeat to Lyon, and he now regains the number one spot.
During Hradecky’s absence, Philipp Köhn made tangible progress on targeted aspects and met staff demands. Hradecky had performed well before the setback and will be expected to add experience.
Kassoum Ouattara returns to the squad and is potentially selectable. On staff advice he delayed last weekend’s comeback to extend his physical work by another week.
Eric Dier and Krépin Diatta, thigh, Paul Pogba, calf, Takumi Minamino and Mohammed Salisu, knee, are out, as are Vanderson and Caio Henrique, who picked up hamstring injuries in last Friday’s 3-1 win in Paris.
Vanderson will undergo surgery in Finland and it will be difficult for him to finish the Ligue 1 season, though his campaign is not over given the World Cup from 11 June to 19 July. Caio is set to miss a few weeks, with hope he can still contribute late on.
Pape Cabral, hamstring, should be selectable against Brest. Denis Zakaria and Jordan Teze were managed on Thursday and worked indoors alongside him.
