In the hunt for offensive reinforcements, Olympique Lyonnais could well capitalise on the potential move of Randal Kolo Muani (27) to Juventus to secure the services of Jonathan David (26). A possibility confirmed in La Stampa, which reports that the Lyon-based club are interested in the Canadian striker.
Signed last summer but having never really managed to establish himself at the Vecchia Signoria (eight goals and five assists in 46 appearances), the former Lille OSC player could already be leaving Turin. Or at least on a temporary basis. Which is why the idea of loaning David to OL has taken shape in the minds of the Bianconeri’s management, who are reportedly even prepared to cover part of the Brooklyn, New York native’s wages – which amount to €11 million a year.
A move that would thus resemble the one carried out by Lyon in the Endrick (19) case, for whom the move to France has been more than beneficial, having notably been called up by Carlo Ancelotti to compete in the 2026 World Cup.
