Lyon are closing in on their second winter signing. Brondby’s 20-year-old midfielder Noah Nartey is in the city for a medical, according to Le Progres.

He is expected to sign a four-and-a-half-year contract, with a fee of about €8m excluding bonuses. Brondby will retain a sell-on interest.

Nartey, who can operate centrally or on the right, has made 17 Superliga appearances this season. He has scored four goals and provided three assists.

His future now appears to lie in Lyon once the formalities are complete.

Paulo Fonseca said the team want to keep progressing and that he is anticipating another arrival.
