Having missed the first leg through injury, Malick Fofana has returned to the matchday squad for Olympique Lyonnais as they face Manchester United on Thursday night. However, the Belgium international is unlikely to start in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-final.

Ernest Nuamah is the only major absentee for Lyon at Old Trafford. The Ghanaian has undergone surgery on his knee injury and will be out for several months. Georges Mikautadze is expected to start in place of club captain Alexandre Lacazette up front, whilst Thiago Almada will continue on the left of the attack and Rayan Cherki on the right for Lyon. Corentin Tolisso is expected to continue in the No.10 position. Having started the first leg from the bench, Nemanja Matić is expected to start against his former club.
