Lyon technical director Matthieu Louis-Jean has been handed a two-match ban, with a further two suspended, for remarks he is said to have made to referee Jérôme Brisard after OM-OL.

He was dismissed following the final whistle of OM-OL, which finished 3-2, on one March during matchday 24 of Ligue 1.

The LFP disciplinary commission’s punishment covers the touchline, the referees' dressing room and all official functions, and takes effect from next Tuesday at midnight.

It will sideline him for at least the home game against Monaco on 22 March at 15:00, and the trip to Angers on five April at 15:00.

The commission also confirmed suspensions for five players after a fifth booking: Brest's Ludovic Ajorque and Brendan Chardonnet, Paris Saint-Germain's Achraf Hakimi, Lyon's Tyler Morton and Le Havre's Yanis Zouaoui.
