Lyon are exploring a move for Juventus forward Jonathan David this summer, Tuttosport reports.
The Canada international, 26, arrived in Italy on a free from Lille last summer and has had a mixed campaign. Since the start of 2025-26 he has made 38 appearances, 23 starts, with seven goals and five assists.
Juventus’s hierarchy may already be open to a sale. Despite a deal running to 2030, an offer in the €25 to €30 million range could persuade them, while his estimated salary stands at €11 million per year.
Paulo Fonseca, who has previously worked with David, greatly admires his profile.
Even so, any move looks complicated for Lyon given their financial problems. The club are also preparing for the exit of Endrick, 19, whose loan from Real Madrid ends at the close of the season.
