Lyon ‘trying to lure’ Wolfsburg winger Mohamed Amoura away from Nice | OneFootball

According to L’Équipe, Olympique Lyonnais are attempting to lure VfL Wolfsburg winger Mohamed Amoura away from a proposed move to OGC Nice.

Nice are thought to be close to agreeing a loan with an option to buy for the Algeria international, however Lyon are said to be courting him strongly.

Amoura joined Wolfsburg last summer from Union Saint-Gilloise for nearly €15m. The Tahir-born forward recorded eight goals and four assists in 33 appearances in all competitions last season.

He is under contract until 2029 and could yet end up in Ligue 1. Recent interest has also been reported from Stade Rennais and Udinese.

Capped 47 times by Algeria, he has scored 19 international goals. He missed three of their four World Cup matches due to a hamstring problem.
