Lyon travel to Metz on Sunday at 17:15 for Ligue 1 matchday 19, with Khalis Merah in line to start.

According to L'Équipe, Paulo Fonseca is expected to be without Pavel Sulc, who took a knock in Thursday’s 1-0 Europa League win over Young Boys Bern and is not expected to be passed fit. The Czech forward has 12 goals this season.

Fonseca is expected to use a 4-3-1-2 and contend with an improvised back line, as Nicolas Tagliafico faces about one month out with a right ankle injury.

Merah is expected to operate as the playmaker behind the strike pair Endrick and Afonso Moreira.
