Liverpool locked horns with Fulham at Craven Cottage earlier today as they looked to earn a win and take one step closer to the Premier League title. The Reds made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 14th minute when Alexis Mac Allister scored with a great strike from long range. However, Fulham equalised thanks to Ryan Sessegnon’s effort just nine minutes later.
Alex Iwobi completed the turnaround for the home side in the 32nd minute before Rodrigo Muniz got his name on the scoresheet just five minutes later. Arne Slot’s men failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time interval 3-1 down on the scoreline.
Luis Diaz came off the bench and got a goal back for the Reds in the 72nd minute. However, Liverpool struggled to find the equaliser and crashed to a lackluster 3-2 loss away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the clash against the Cottagers.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 6.5/10
Van Dijk made a poor mistake in the lead-up to Rodrigo Muniz’s goal. However, he came back stronger and bossed the game in the second half.
