According to Le Progres, the Nogent-sur-Oise native returns to her home region after loan spells at Strasbourg and Paris FC.

She arrived in the Rhône in 2022 and signed her first professional contract in 2023, making seven first-team appearances that season. She was then loaned to Strasbourg, followed by Paris FC, to gain experience.

Paris FC, runners-up in the French championship after a 5-0 defeat by Lyon, had Mendy on loan last term.

On the international stage, she excelled for France at youth level, being named best player at the U19 Euro with three goals and four assists.

She was called up by Laurent Bonadei in June to prepare the final two qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup against Poland and the Republic of Ireland, but did not play.

In club football she will now work under Sandrine Soubeyrand rather than Jonatan Giráldez.
