The ceremony, which will take place on on Sunday, 11th May, is set to be the first event of its kind for the leagues, with a total of 14 awards up for grabs across the evening, including the crowning of each division's respective Player of the Season.

Republic of Ireland international Murphy, who joined United in January, is shortlisted in the Barclays Women's Championship Rising Star category after a promising start to her career in black and white.

She faces competition from Ella Wilson (Durham), Gloria Siber (Charlton Athletic), Lucia Kendall (Southampton), Lucy Newell (Blackburn Rovers), Mary Corbyn (Sunderland) and Sophie Quirk (Portsmouth) for that prize.

And fellow forward Hayles - who finished her first campaign at the club as the Magpies' leading goalscorer - is nominated for the Barclays Women's Championship Player of the Season award, along with Aimee Claypole and Mollie Lambert (Durham), Eleanor Dale (Sunderland), Ellie Mason, Lucy Quinn, Shannon Cooke and Simone Magill (Birmingham City), Emily Syme (Bristol City), Isobel Goodwin and Kosovare Asllani (London City Lionesses), Lexi Lloyd-Smith (Bristol City) and Maria Farrugia (Sheffield United).

And Cumming has also been nominated for the Club Hero award, with Emma Fletcher (Manchester United), Eric Coleborn (Portsmouth), Jade Morgan (Leicester City) and Rebecca Derbyshire (Manchester City) also in the running.

The categories will be voted for in a variety of methods, including votes from the WPLL Board, the Football Writers' Association and Football Supporters' Association. More voting details will be confirmed on Wednesday, 7th May.
