TMC reports that, at Fernando Diniz’s request, Corinthians futsal top scorer Maicon, 22, has begun training on the pitch in recent days with the club’s Under-20 side.

The attacker is being used in the forward line, both out wide and in more central areas.

Despite positive internal assessments, there is no timetable for him to join first-team sessions at CT Joaquim Grava.

The coaching staff are tracking his adaptation from futsal to 11-a-side, including differences in distance covered, reaction time and use of space.

Maicon had early experience of outdoor football, then moved to futsal before arriving at Parque São Jorge in 2023. Since then he has made 119 appearances for Corinthians, scoring 53 goals and providing 21 assists.
