The two parties had reached an agreement over the last few weeks, and the 30-year-old is now ready to commit his future to the Rossoneri by extending his stay beyond June 2026.
It will be a new deal until 2031 or 2030, with an option for a further campaign.

Milan are busy in the final days of the January transfer window as Sky and Gazzetta report the Serie A giants have an agreement with Crystal Palace for Jean-Philippe Mateta.
However, with Niclas Fullkrug, who already moved to San Siro this month, the Rossoneri would need to offload Nkunku.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the ex-Chelsea striker has attracted interest from Roma and other clubs who have already sounded out his availability.
