Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has been making significant progress on the training ground as his return from injury is now on the horizon.
The Slovenian hurt himself just before the November international break. He was brought in as a substitute against Spurs, but wasn’t able to finish the match, as he picked up a knock while attempting a shot on target.
While the clubs and the fans initially feared the worst, reports at the time confirmed that Sesko’s injury was not major, and it would only require a few weeks of rehabilitation.
In the absence of the former RB Leipzig bomber, Ruben Amorim had to resort to Joshua Zirkzee, a decision that yielded mixed results.
The Dutchman was then dropped on Monday, with the manager favouring the attacking trio of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount against Wolves.
The Red Devils made short work of the Premier League whipping boys, beating them by four goals to one at the Molineux.

In his latest update for CentreDevils, Man Utd insider Sully revealed that Amorim should soon have a new option at his disposal in the shape of Sesko.
The journalist insists that the Slovenian has been making important progress in his recovery path, especially after returning to grass training, although he’s still working individually.
Sesko’s return would be a timely boost for Man Utd, especially since the availability of Amad Diallo and Mbeumo remains uncertain for next Monday’s Bournemouth fixture.
The duo have been called up for the African Cup of Nations, alongside Noussair Mazraoui, but United are hoping to keep them at Carington for as long as possible.
Nevertheless, with the AFCON trio set to eventually leave at some point in the next few weeks, it will be vital to have the ‘relentless’ Sesko back in action.
The 23-year-old has only scored two goals this season, but it should be remembered that he joined United just before the start of the Premier League campaign, hence missing the club’s pre-season.
Therefore, the Slovenian international is still adjusting to his new surroundings and trying to build chemistry with his teammates.
