Young winger stretchered off during Lorient game — early signs suggest serious setback

Major Setback for Paris Saint Germain: New injury blow hits squad ahead of Bayern Munich in Champions League
Paris Saint Germain suffered major injury scare on Friday night after Desire Doue was forced off injured during the Ligue 1 Round 10 clash against Lorient.
According to French Football Weekly, the 20 year old winger had to be stretchered off before the hour mark, visibly in pain and unable to put weight on his leg.
The incident occurred less than 6 day before PSG’s critical Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes.
Doue’s injury is huge setback for manager Luis Enrique who has recently praised the youngster’s resurgence following previous layoff.
The French prodigy had returned in mid October and was enjoying one of his best spells since joining PSG — scoring twice against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League and adding another goal versus Brest in Ligue 1 last weekend.
🚨⚠️ Désiré Doué suffers serious muscle injury and will be assessed by PSG staff. Get well soon! 🤜🏽🤛🏽–
Initial medical assessments were inconclusive with PSG expected to issue official update within hours.
The player was immediately sent for scans to determine the extent of the leg injury and early fears suggest muscle or ligament problem.
