Malcom has revealed Al-Jazira as his next club on Instagram, pre-empting any Al-Hilal statement on his exit. According to Goal.com, the Brazilian announced the switch on his account.

Reports had suggested Al-Jazira reached an agreement to sign the winger, with talk of ending his ties with Al-Hilal before the switch. Saudi side Al-Diriyah were among the clubs interested.

His exit closes a successful spell with Al-Hilal. He joined in the summer of 2023 from Zenit Saint Petersburg and quickly became a key part of the attack.

He left a clear mark in Riyadh and helped deliver a string of honours. The club’s stance on his future changed during this window, and talks steered him towards Al-Jazira.

By naming his new club, Malcom has moved ahead of Al-Hilal. Only the official announcement remains before he starts a new chapter away from the Roshn League.
